Money for housing restoration: how to apply through "eVidnovlenya" and not miss the opportunity

Owners of damaged private houses can now receive financial assistance for housing restoration through the EVDnestvovanie service. Attorney Oleksandr Holovchenko made this information public on his website.

“If your house was destroyed and the land plot remained in your ownership, you can apply for compensation, provided that you are building on the territory controlled by Ukraine, where there are no current hostilities.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to get help:

apply to the Diia app or at an Administrative Services Center (ASC). After its consideration, you will be assigned the amount of compensation.
Register the start of construction work in the same application.
After receiving the compensation, you must relinquish ownership of the destroyed housing.
Apply for funds through the “eVidnovlenya” section in the Diia app.

Studies have shown that the money is credited to the” eVidnovlenya” card in two stages – 50% each. The first part should be spent 90% on construction work, and proof of expenditure should be sent through the program, attaching an estimate and passing verification.

It should be noted that the first tranche must be used within 18 months and both tranches within 36 months. If these deadlines are not met, the funds will be returned to the state budget.

So, this is an excellent opportunity for owners of destroyed housing to rebuild their homes, but it is essential to follow all the steps to avoid losing financial assistance.
