Russian rap song takes first place in the Ukrainian Apple Music chart
The song “Fake ID” by Russian rappers Kizaru and Icegergert has taken the top spot on the Apple Music chart in Ukraine, displacing the popular track “Zirochka Palay” by Anna Trincher, which now holds the third position.
As of April 13, the song “Fake ID” became the leader of the Apple Music chart in Ukraine. Despite the active hostilities and constant rocket attacks by Russian troops, Russian artists still occupy top positions in Ukrainian music charts, which causes discontent among the public. For example, on the same day, the city of Sumy was hit by another missile attack.
Here are the top five most popular Apple Music tracks in Ukraine:
- “Fake ID” – Kizaru & Icegergert
- “Man” – Alyona Omargalieva
- “Zvezdochka Palay” – Anna Trincher
- “Begged” – MONATIK, Jerry Heil
- “Add light” – DOROFEEVA

One of the song’s performers, Kizaru (Oleg Nechyporenko), is a Russian citizen. In 2014, he fled abroad after being arrested for drug offenses, moving to Spain. He claimed to have avoided jail thanks to bribes, but he was later imprisoned and is now on the international wanted list.
Another performer, Icegergert, whose real name is Georgy Gergert, studied at a military school but chose a path that glorifies violence and the criminal underworld through music.
Listening to music on streaming services such as Apple Music brings income to Russian artists, who then pay taxes in their home country.
It is worth noting that the song “Zirochka Palay” took first place in the Ukrainian chart due to its popularity on TikTok.
