Trump expressed the opinion that Biden’s approach is ineffective since hostilities are ongoing. He noted that the Biden administration tried to put pressure on Russia by assisting Ukraine, but did not achieve the desired results.

Expert Oleksiy Yakubin emphasized that Trump plans to change this strategy, believing that tougher measures against Ukraine and trade with Russia are necessary. According to him, Trump is confident in his rightness since he believes that the previous approach did not work, and this is the position he chose for his election campaign.

As Yakubin notes, such a change in Trump’s position should not surprise anyone. The expert explains that the new approach differs from the old one, but the logic remains the same: if you do not change the methods, you cannot expect a change in the results.
