Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner walked the red carpet together in Rome for the first time

According to Variety, Actor Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner walked the red carpet at the David di Donatello Awards in Italy.

Chalamet accepted the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 70th ceremony at the Cinecittá in Rome. In his acceptance speech, he highlighted the importance of Luca Guadagnino’s Call Me by Your Name to his career.

The actor said, “Luca is probably the most important person in my professional life.” Timothée and Kylie, who have been in a relationship for two years, made their first public appearance together.

In 2017, Chalamet was nominated for Best Actor for the same role, becoming the third youngest person to win the award. “I was a 20-year-old New Yorker struggling to break into American cinema. Thanks to Luca Guadagnino, my career took off immediately,” he shared.

Although Timothée is not of Italian descent, he feels a strong connection to the Italian film community. “If I hadn’t followed my dream of becoming an actor, I would probably have broken Francesco Totti’s goal-scoring record,” he joked, referring to the legendary AS Roma footballer.

Piera Detassis, president of the Italian Film Academy, said, “Timothée Chalamet’s European origins and his American roots make him one of the most interesting and talented actors in contemporary cinema. He combines an auteur approach with a charisma that allows him to shape styles and trends.”
