Unprofessional technician caused emergency: Ukrainians left without gas due to critical error

Unfortunately, some people’s negligence or lack of knowledge sometimes leads to situations that can seriously threaten the life safety of apartment building residents.

One such case occurred in the Novobavarskyi district of Kharkiv, where an inept repairman left residents of 15 apartments without gas.

The incident occurred when a person tried to connect a gas column independently. Due to ignorance or carelessness, he mistakenly mixed up the hoses, which led to water entering the residential building’s internal gas networks.

Specialists from the Kharkiv city branch of Gazmerezh responded promptly and started work on eliminating the threat. First, they conducted a comprehensive examination of the system to assess the scale of the problem and determine further steps. Then, the specialists began removing water from the gas pipelines and gas metering units, which allowed the system to resume proper operation.

After the work was completed, the gas supply was restored for most residents, except for the apartment where the inept repairman lived. A report was drawn up for him, and the gas supply was disconnected.

Now he will have to compensate for the damage.
