Долар знижується, євро зростає: економіст детально пояснив, як уберегти валютні заощадження

The dollar is falling, the euro is rising: an economist explained in detail how to protect your foreign currency savings

With dollar and euro exchange rates changing, many Ukrainians face the important issue of preserving their savings in foreign currency. Economist Ilya Neskhodovsky shared his advice on this topic during a broadcast on Hromadske Radio.

The specialist advises not keeping all finances in one currency and emphasizes that those who have savings in dollars should not rush to exchange them.

Neskhodovsky also voiced several basic recommendations for Ukrainians who want to preserve their foreign currency savings:

40% of savings should be kept in dollars, as it is a stable reserve currency that provides reliability;
about 20% – in euros;
The remaining 40% should be kept in hryvnia, but not idle. It is better to invest in Ukrainian military bonds, which will allow you to receive some income.
According to the economist, by maintaining the proper diversity of currency assets and investing profitably, Ukrainians can preserve their savings even in conditions of instability. He emphasized that considering the National Bank’s ability to stabilize the exchange rate, investing in dollars can bring up to 14% per annum, a favorable indicator for both the Ukrainian and global markets.
