Sberbank restricts access to its clients’ savings
Sberbank announced a temporary blocking of its clients’ accounts, which caused concern among users. There are difficulties in restoring access to frozen funds, which is confirmed by one of the reviews published on the “Minfin” portal.
A military personnel member complained to the bank, which reported that his account was blocked due to a large number of financial transactions.
“On March 21, I received a notification from the bank about imposing restrictions on the card due to financial monitoring since, being in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, I make many payments to other accounts,” the client said.
The man went to the bank branch and provided all the necessary explanations regarding his financial transactions, but this did not help to remove the blocking.
The client expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that he has not been able to perform any financial transactions and use his money for more than a month.
“Today, the account continues to be blocked; the operators only offer to visit the branch. When I ask how long it will take, they do not provide any information. There are more than 70 thousand hryvnias in the account, and the funds can be replenished, but it is impossible to spend them!”, – said the serviceman.
This incident highlights that financial institution restrictions can cause significant problems for their clients, particularly during challenging times.
Earlier, the portal “Znay” reported that Oschadbank warned about possible restrictions on access to accounts, as well as cases of blocking salary cards, leaving clients without a means of livelihood.
