Disney finally releases first trailer for ‘Zootopia 2’ after nine years of waiting

The animated film “Zootropolis,” which gained popularity in 2016, has received its sequel. The new trailer promises an intriguing combination of dynamics, humor, and surprises. In the center of the plot is a mysterious reptile that threatens the city.

Fans can finally rejoice: Disney has released the first trailer for “Zootropolis 2”. Familiar favorites Nick Krutikhvist and Judy Hopps again take up the investigation to solve a new mystery in their big animal city. The premiere is scheduled for November 26, 2025, and this is one of the most anticipated events in the world of cinema.

The original “Zootopia,” released in 2016, quickly won the hearts of viewers, grossing more than $1 billion at the box office and earning an Oscar for Best Animated Feature. Now, nine years later, the sequel promises no less exciting stories.

The plot of the new sequel focuses on detective Judy Hopps and her partner Nick Krutykhvisty, who must investigate the appearance of an unusual reptile that disturbs the peace in the city. The heroes will have to explore the darkest corners of Zootropolis, where they will encounter confusing clues and unexpected turns that will test their friendship and professionalism.
