A man climbed a five-story tree and spent several hours there

At six in the morning today in Odessa, an unusual incident occurred that drew the attention of passersby and law enforcement officers. A man climbed a tree as tall as a five-story building and refused to come down.

Eyewitnesses called him “Tarzan” because he comfortably settled among the branches as if this was his usual place. The reasons for his act remain unclear.

For several hours, rescuers, police officers, and employees of the territorial procurement center tried to convince the man to come down. Around noon, he finally managed to get down from the tree, after which he was handed over to representatives of the center.

This event caused active discussions in the community and became one of the main topics of the day in the city.
