Нафтогаз" прокоментував ціну на газ: які зміни очікують українців у платіжках

Naftogaz commented on the price of gas: what changes await Ukrainians in their payments

The situation in Ukraine’s energy sector remains difficult. The Russian attacks have impacted the gas industry, potentially leading to a gas shortage and an increase in its cost.

According to Naftogaz, the situation with gas prices remains stable. The company confirmed that tariffs for the population will remain unchanged and will continue at the level set until February 24, 2022.

The price of gas will not increase during the martial law and for six months after its termination. This applies not only to household consumers but also to associations of co-owners of apartment buildings and housing and construction cooperatives.

The vast majority of Ukrainian households are served by Naftogaz, paying 7.96 hryvnias per cubic meter of gas. Other suppliers have different tariffs, ranging from 7.79 to 9.99 hryvnias per cubic meter.

Gas delivery tariffs will remain unchanged, but the amounts in distribution bills may vary depending on the volume of consumption. The distribution tariffs will be reviewed annually, from October 1 to September 30 of the following year.

It was also previously reported that Naftogaz would refund part of the costs to consumers, and important announcements were made to customers regarding changes in service provision.
