Special financial support for Ukrainians: who can receive 5,000 hryvnias

Some families may receive one-time financial support for 5,000 hryvnias.

These payments are provided for by the new program, which supports youth and families from 2025 to 2027 and is being implemented in the Kherson region, as reported by the Novovorontsov settlement military administration.

Young families who first married after January 1, 2025, can count on this assistance if neither of the spouses exceeds 35 years of age. Funds are provided for the purchase of household goods and household appliances.

The main requirements for receiving the payment:

The marriage was concluded after 01.01.2025;
Settlement and registration of at least one of the spouses in the territory of the Novovorontsov community for at least 1 year (including IDP status) before applying.
Additionally, families with a child born on or after January 1, 2025, will receive assistance for 10,000 hryvnias for the purchase of children’s goods.

It was previously reported that pensioners, families with children, and people with disabilities would receive 10,800 hryvnias each; the details of the program have not yet been announced.

Ukrainians can also receive more than 54,000 hryvnias in assistance; therefore, it is essential to register promptly.

Additionally, there is already information available about the possibility of receiving between one hundred and one thousand euros per month, where Ukrainian migrants can find the most significant financial support.
