Utility bills will increase again: Ukrainians can expect a doubling of the cost – which services will increase in price

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, there was an increase in tariffs for utility services, which include water supply, sewage, and garbage collection. The changes were initiated by the municipal enterprise “Yuriyivskie ZhKP”, which necessitated adjusting tariffs due to the increase in the costs of providing these services.

Utility workers focus on the increase in the cost of energy, materials, and reagents, as well as the need to reflect the real volumes of services provided. This will result in a significant increase in costs for residents of Yuriyivka and its neighboring settlements.

According to the updated tariffs, the price of centralized water supply for the population will increase from UAH 53.06 to UAH 69.38 per cubic meter, representing a more than 30% increase. For budget institutions, the tariff will rise to UAH 72.69, while other categories of consumers will pay UAH 75.99 per cubic meter.

The tariff for centralized water disposal will also increase. Residents, according to the new indicators, will pay 187.53 UAH per cubic meter, budgetary institutions – 196.46 UAH, while other consumers will pay 205.39 UAH.

Regarding the collection and removal of garbage, the tariff for the population will increase from 35 UAH to 67.86 UAH, which is almost twice as much. The cost of placing waste in a landfill will increase from 65.82 UAH to 174.93 UAH. Similar changes apply to budgetary and other organizations.

The company notes that the new tariffs are based on economically justified costs, given the increase in prices for energy, transportation services, and equipment maintenance. They believe that such an increase is necessary to ensure the stable operation of the utility.
