SBU and SSO conducted a large-scale operation: explosions at an oil depot and energy facilities in Crimea

On the night of October 13, a joint operation of Ukrainian strike drones of the Central Intelligence Agency “A” of the SBU and the Special Intelligence Agency of the Armed Forces of Ukraine took place in the annexed Crimea. They hit several objects that support Russian military activity against Ukraine.

The spokesman for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, Serhiy Bratchuk, reported this on his channel. According to information, the attacks were carried out, in particular, on the Feodosia marine oil terminal, where the drones hit five fuel tanks, which led to a large fire on the territory of the oil depot.

In addition, an attack was carried out on the 220 kV Kafa substation in Feodosia, which is part of the energy bridge between Russia and Crimea. As a result, transformers, switchgear, control rooms, and protection systems were damaged, which caused power outages in the city.

A series of explosions was also recorded at the 330 kV substation “Simferopol”, which was also attacked.

The occupation authorities of Crimea claim that their air defense forces allegedly shot down approximately 40 drones, but confirmed the facts of fires and damage to energy infrastructure.

Over the past few months, Ukrainian special services have repeatedly carried out strikes on critical military and logistical facilities in Crimea. These actions were aimed at reducing the enemy’s potential to conduct combat operations from the territory of this occupied peninsula.
