Destruction in the Rivne region due to an enemy attack in the morning of December 23

On December 23, in the morning, the Russian army carried out a new series of attacks on Ukraine, in particular in the Rivne region.

Oleksandr Koval, head of the Rivne Regional Military Administration, announced this.

According to preliminary information, a residential apartment building was damaged following an enemy attack, with the blast wave breaking windows. A wooden outbuilding was also destroyed, and three cars were damaged.

Preliminary data indicate no human casualties. Representatives of law enforcement agencies and other services are working at the scene.

The night before that day and in the morning, Russian forces conducted a combined attack on Ukraine, using attack drones and missiles. As of 07:50, emergency power outages have been implemented in most regions of the country.

Oleksandr Syrsky noted that Russia has concentrated up to 710,000 soldiers for the offensive. Despite heavy losses, the enemy continues to attack, although without significant success. The commander also cited the achievements of the Ukrainian units, which, through active operations, pushed back the invaders from Kupyansk and controlled more than 90% of the city’s territory.
