Mobile tariffs are rising: Vodafone raises prices after Kyivstar

Ukrainian mobile operators continue to review their tariffs for communication services. From January 1, 2026, Kyivstar increased its service prices, and from January 14, the price increase will affect Vodafone subscribers. The company assures that, along with the new prices, customers will receive improved package content.

Vodafone announced that from January 14, 2026, tariffs for several popular subscription plans will change. In particular, the cost of the FLEXX GO tariff will increase from 320 to 420 hryvnias, and FLEXX TOP – from 500 to 550 hryvnias per month. At the same time, special conditions will apply to subscribers who port their number to this network.

The company also announced an update to the package content. The amount of Internet in roaming in EU countries will increase: up to 15 GB for FLEXX GO and up to 20 GB for FLEXX TOP. For new customers who activate the number by mid-January, the tariff costs will remain unchanged for the first six months.

Vodafone’s decision is part of a broader market trend: from January 1, 2026, Kyivstar has already increased tariffs. Operators explain the need for the increase due to rising electricity costs, equipment maintenance, and the need to ensure stable network operation during outages. Vodafone also notes that at the end of 2025, the company invested significant resources in generators, cables, and power backup systems.

In addition, from January 6, 2026, subscribers will no longer be able to connect to the “Home” tariff; instead, two new plans are being introduced: “Optimal” (up to 300 Mbps) and “Comfortable” (up to 1 Gbps). These new tariffs provide Internet access even during power outages. The operator is also updating the conditions for both subscribers and contract tariffs in response to increases in the prices of basic resources.
