Ukrainian lawyer visits the Italian Senate

Bohdan Khmelnytsky, Managing Partner of the Law Association “Strategic Advocacy”, visited the Senate of Italy as part of a study tour.

The Senate of Italy has 315 elected senators and several life senators, including former presidents of the country and individuals selected by the president for significant achievements in science, culture, or art.

The Senate performs essential functions, including approving international agreements, declaring war, and granting the government certain powers.

During the visit, the participants had the opportunity to learn more about the work of the Italian parliamentary system and discuss issues of legal development.

Such an exchange of experience is essential for strengthening Ukraine’s international partnership.

Earlier, Bohdan Khmelnytsky also made a study tour to the Supreme Court of Cassation of Italy, which is the main body of the judiciary and ensures the unity of law enforcement in the country.
